I have even made these as a meal, for lunches and when I am entertaining guest.
1 lb hamburger
½ cup grated cheddar cheese
1 can mushroom soup (284 ml can)
½ cup breadcrumbs
¼ cup chopped onion
Salt & pepper
1 beaten egg
Spices to suit you
Combine all of these real well.
Trim crusts off of 16 – 18 slices of bread and butter one side.
Place butter side of bread down in muffin tins and shape in.
Fill with meat mixture and bake at 350 oven for 40 minutes.
Freezes well & they are very filling and good for lunches.
To heat – heat them for 1 minute in the microwave,
