I remember last year my family and a family friend went to the valley for the weekend of Thanksgiving. I loved it there, it was so beautiful, fresh and lively.
One of my favorite memories was when we went to Brier Island and Long Island. The balancing rock was breathtaking at sunset. And Digby Neck at sunset was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.
I remember calling Ed's Takeout the best restaurant ever, it was comfy and served good food.
Bear River was breathtaking in the early sunny morning. The lake was calm. The cottage I stayed at Crown Cove Cottages, (I recommend you include on this website) was a quiet private and pretty cottage. The owner there was so nice and helpful. My dog could stay and have fun.
Annapolis Royal in the morning on a calm sunny day is nice but my favorite memory is driving in Digby Neck at sunset on a beautiful day.

Thank you Ben for your interesting story. It sounds like you had a nice vacation in the Annapolis Valley. It sounds like you did quite a bit while you were here. I do agree with you on the beauty of the Digby Neck Islands, I love taking a drive down there. I still love going across on the little ferries to.
I will take your advice and look into adding Crown Cove Cottages to this site.
Thanks again for sharing your story with us.
