The Port in Port Williams

by Melanie

The Port in Port Williams uses excellent local, organic ingredients. Charming "wharf-like" patio, and windows open your view toward Wolfville. Nice wine selection too. I've never been disappointed, and when I go home to the valley this is on my list!

Thank you Melanie for your review about The Port Pub & Bistro. If I may I will expand a little bit on what you wrote.

The Port Pub & Bistro was built by local tradesmen after a decision was made that they needed a fine place to eat and socialize in the Port Williams area. The pub is all community owned with over 40 local shareholders. They pride themselves in listening to their customers and implementing their good suggestions.

The Port Pub was built along the Cornwallis River and showcases a unique architectural design. You will experience a warm and relaxed setting either inside or out on it's waterside deck.

This is the first Gastropub located in Nova Scotia. This is "a British term for a public House (Pub) which specializes in high quality food." And this food & drink establishment can deliver. Their selection of fine local cuisine compliments their selection of beers and wine.

Make sure to try one of their own micro-brewed beers that are produced right on site, or one of their other many "adventurous drink selections".

You will find the Port Pub & Bistro at 980 Terry's Creek Road in Port Williams. You may contact them at (902) 542 5555.
